A campground that treats RVers like the guests they are.
Most campgrounds near DuPont State Forest were built for tents and stayed that way. We built ours for the way people actually travel now. Big rigs pull in easy. Hookups work the first time. The bathhouse is ADA compliant, beautifully finished, and kept spotless. And the internet is fiber, not some sad satellite dish bolted to a tree.
Yes, it is a real full hookup park. And yes, your big rig fits.
Sixteen sites on Old Cabin Loop with 50/30 amp electric, water, and sewer at the site, plus an 80-foot pull-through built for big rigs. Back-in sites run 50 to 65 feet. Pads are level crushed stone and gravel, wide and spacious, with trees between many sites for privacy and plenty of room for slide-outs. Pet friendly. Minutes from the High Falls Visitor Center, Hooker Falls parking, and Lake Imaging parking entrances to DuPont State Recreational Forest.

This is the actual campground, captured as a Google Street View virtual tour. Click and drag to look around. Good for checking out the bathhouse, the loop layout, and the way the sites sit before you commit to a reservation.
Six waterfalls. Eighty miles of trail. One easy drive from your site.
DuPont State Recreational Forest is one of the most photographed stretches of Western North Carolina, and the High Falls Visitor Center, Hooker Falls parking, and Lake Imaging parking are all just minutes from your campsite. Triple Falls and Hooker Falls both starred as the arena in the original Hunger Games. On foot, bike, or horseback, the forest is the whole reason you're here.
May, June, September, and October are the sweet spots.
Spring brings the biggest waterfall flow. Fall brings the color. Summer weekends fill up fast, so book ahead.
